Turn everyday trash into Barbie party treasure! Transform your next Barbie themed party into a Barbie dream world with these easy DIY party ideas made using up-cycled cardboard! In this video, I’ll show you how to create a Barbie inspired life size Barbie box, Barbie Inspired personalized name sign, large Barbie themed props and custom pizza boxes. Perfect for birthdays, sleepovers, or any pink aesthetic celebration!— all on a budget! Keep scrolling to see how I made and incorporated each piece!
Life Size Barbie Box

Step 1: Collect and repurpose some large and small boxes. (I'm using boxes from a closet system that I recently purchased from Ikea).

Step 2: Fix and mend any flaws in the boxes. Use tape, Mod Podge, and brown craft paper to join any smaller boxes together. Join the sides, top, and bottom of the structure.
Step 3: Create a base platform within the box by assembling and fitting cardboard pieces together.

Step 4: Paint the entire interior and sides of the box. I used a custom color that was matched at the home improvement store from a Barbie party favor box.

Step 5: Use strong hold glue to attach and assemble any additional painted pieces to the box.

Step 6: Upload the Barbie logo with the background removed to Cricut Design Space.

Step 7: Insert a white poster board into the Cricut and cut.

Step 8: Paste the cut logo onto the bottom front of the box.

Step 9: Trim the cardboard surrounding the logo and attach the sign to the box.

Step 10: Next, create the branded logo to add to the box.

Step 1: Use a search within Canva to locate a similar Barbie Letters font to spell out the name that will be on the sign.
Step 2: Remove the background and save the file.

Step 3: Upload the file to Cricut Design Space and adjust the font.
Step 4: Cut out the font using white poster board.

Step 5: Paint all sides of the cardboard using several coats of pink paint. Allow the paint to dry.

Step 6: Apply Mod Podge to adhere the name text to the cardboard.

Step 1: Download a Barbie logo image from the Internet to use as a logo and remove the background.
Step 2: Save the png image.

Step 3: Upload that saved image to Cricut Design Space.

Step 4: Use the Cricut to make and cut out the image.
Step 5: Use transfer tape to place the image on the front of the pizza box. (I discovered that medium grip transfer tape was most effective for me).

Step 1: Utilize Cricut to cut the identical Barbie font used for the life-size Barbie box from white poster board.

Step 3: Utilize Mod Podge to attach the sign to the box.

Barbie Decal Prop Box
Step 1: Use the Cricut to cut the identical logo decal used on the pizza boxes from white adhesive vinyl. Resize it to fit the front of the box.
