Are you feeling the "clutter sauce" covering every aspect of your life? Historically…, the start of a new year is the perfect time to tackle the clutter and establish an organizing system. Storage and organization makes life easier when it comes to managing DIY materials. Keeping craft materials arranged and categorized can make locating things for projects much easier. I cannot begin to explain how many times I have went to the store to purchase something that I thought I didn’t have only to realize it was lost in sauce .
An organization system does not have to be expensive and this can be the perfect time to get those creative juices flowing and come up with a great method to organize all those materials. I like to use an affordable cube storage system that was easy to assemble. I like to store a bulk of my supplies in this cube structure. The cube system comes in a variety of cube options and allows the ability to have supplies hidden in bins. There are an array of color bins to choose from and the shades can add or blend with any color décor.
The key to keeping cube storage effective is to potentially categorize the supplies within the bins (don’t just drop and go!) One bin can be used to store art supplies such as paint, crayons, markers etc., and another bin can be used to store jewelry making materials or beads. Getting supplies organized for the New Year can help you inventory materials, save money by reducing unnecessary over spending, and make any craft space visually appealing!
