Today I'm highlighting these adorable teddy bear themed rope baskets. I initially created this pair of storage baskets to go in my daughters nursery. This decor can easily be showcased all year round. I also really like the idea of using these as an Easter basket or a gifting basket. You can definitely fill these up and gift for a baby shower as well. There are a lot of uses with these rope baskets. I used all dollar store materials and used containers from Christmas as a base. Look below to see how they're made!

Materials:

  • 2 Plastic Containers

  • Rope

  • Felt

  • Black Spray Paint

  • Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

Step 1: I started with two plastic containers that I spray painted completely black.

Step 2: Start to adhere and wrap rope along the base of the container starting from the bottom to the top.

Step 3: Continue to add glue to the container and tightly layer the rope to completely cover the container.

Step 4: Grab some rope and roll it into a pinwheel while adding hot glue to keep it secure.

Step 5: Create a large enough pinwheel to be used as the ears of the storage basket.

Step 6: Cut felt into some shapes to be used as the face of the bear for the basket.

Step 7: Adhere the rope bear ears and the felt pieces to the front of the basket.
